Earth Day Celebrations

Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First held on April 22, 1970, it now includes a wide range of events coordinated globally by EarthDay.org including 1 billion people in more than 193 countries. The official theme for 2023 is Invest In Our Planet.

At Beaumont, Celebration of Earth Day is a very integral aspect of our last and very apt theme of the year- Our Universe, Lets REDUCE, REUSE AND RECYCLE! Throughout their time at Beaumont, students have learned to be mindful about the way we use our resources and avoid unnecessary wastage thus reduce, reuse and recycle whenever possible. This theme has encouraged students to- foster an understanding about environmental sustainability, take action and make informed choices for making our Planet Earth a better place to live in.

Best from Waste- our learners created exquisite artefacts from used materials. The exhibited artwork has been much appreciated by all. Reusing paper and making use of waste materials for our art and craft activities is something that we have been doing all along.

For High Tea, our students dressed in different hues of green, made a delicious dessert - Green Grapes with Chocolate Sauce and Sprinkles! A yummy treat indeed to celebrate Earth Day and the last day of school. We also celebrated the birthdays of many students, there was plenty to eat and be merry.

Here's Wishing Everyone A Very Happy Earth Day!

Enjoy the Summer break!
