Yellow Colour Day

We celebrated Yellow Colour day on 29th September. The Yellow Sunflower is the class flower of Nursery, we have already celebrated Toddlerflower colour day and will also be celebrating those of Junior and Senior KG in the months to come.

Despite the dull and gloomy weather outdoors, our Beaumont campus was beaming with bright sunshine thanks to all our sunny students dressed in various hues of yellow. Students brought along yellow objects to share and speak about and also learned the significance of this day.

Toddler and Nursery students enjoyed their circle time speaking about their yellow objects, they clicked group picturess and later did an activity - Yellow colour balloon dabbing of a hen.

Junior KG kids too shared and spoke about their yellow artefacts and later proceeded with their art work -Ear bud painting on a yellow paper bag. The students learned that sunny yellows are cheerful hues, the colour of warmth and spring.

Senior KG students discussed the significance of the Sunflower- It symbolises loyalty and love. As they are associated with the Sun, Sunflowers are considered happy flowers which will instantly spread sunshine and brighten moods.

It was a very sunny, bright and happy day indeed!
